Here is an update on three candidates you kindly placed with Avasam recently, Paul, Ben and Octavian.
Paul joined us on the videography side and made an immediate impact. We have been very happy with his professionalism, core skills and underlying all-round good nature. He was offered a full-time permanent position last week as Manager of Videography and we are pleased to report that he has accepted.
Ben joined us on the social media / digital marketing side having previously worked in the field of gas meter installations and therefore with no prior relevant experience. We believe we saw something special in him though when we interviewed him which was a gritty determination to succeed, get his head down and switch his career path and that is exactly what he has done. He is producing some fantastic content and so we have also last week made him an offer for a full-time permanent position which he has also accepted.
Octavian was the first to join us and joined on the branding side. He is a very pleasant person and has some good relevant underlying skills. He has found it a little harder to make his mark but we are encouraged with what we have seen in the more recent past and what is hopefully an upwards path from here. We have verbally extended his paid internship for a further 6-months subject to performance.
